Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a school-based setting across West Virginia. This role focuses on providing high-quality speech and language services to help students improve communication skills and succeed academically.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
Conduct assessments, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans
Manage and maintain IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Track student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active West Virginia SLP license (or ability to obtain)
ASHA CCCs preferred (CFs considered depending on district)
Previous school-based experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
