A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a travel assignment in Prospect Heights, IL, supporting students in a school setting from June 8th through July 2nd. This role offers the opportunity to provide specialized speech and language services to a caseload of approximately 15 students, helping them achieve their communication goals.
Assignment Details:
- Location: Prospect Heights, IL
- Duration: June 8th July 2nd
- Hours on June 8th: 8:00 AM 2:00 PM
- Hours from June 9th to July 2nd: 8:00 AM 12:15 PM
- Caseload: Approximately 15 students
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist with experience in school-based services
- Knowledge of speech and language assessment and treatment in educational settings
- Ability to manage and prioritize a moderate caseload effectively
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, families, and educational staff
- Flexibility to work the outlined hours and travel to Prospect Heights, IL for this temporary assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat speech and language disorders for school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
