A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Arlington Heights, IL, for a contract position within a school setting. This short-term role runs from June 8th through July 2nd, providing a focused and impactful experience working with a caseload of approximately 15 students.
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and delivering speech and language therapy to support students' communication skills. You will work closely with school staff to implement individualized treatment plans and track student progress during the summer session.
Work Schedule:
- June 8th: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- June 9th to July 2nd: 8:00 AM to 12:15 PM
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload of about 15 students
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with developing and implementing individualized educational plans (IEPs)
