Key Qualifications:
- Possession of a current WA State Department of Health Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Washington State SLP ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification
- Ability to provide fingerprints and pass both WSP and FBI background/sexual misconduct clearance checks
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License or other accepted proof of mobility
- Previous experience serving school-age populations is highly desired
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and evidence-based speech-language services to a diverse K-12 caseload
- Assess students’ communication skills, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and track progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social success
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to all federal, state, and local confidentiality requirements
- Work on student in-person days only, aligning with a typical 37.5-hour school site weekly schedule
