A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a school district in Fresno, CA. This contract role is ideal for candidates with experience in California public schools, particularly those familiar with Special Education Information System (SEIS) requirements. The role requires an onsite presence and offers the opportunity to manage a high caseload within an elementary setting.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Possess a valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in California schools
- At least 1 year of SEIS experience
- Experience supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and facilitators is preferred
- Proven ability to manage high caseloads and handle a large volume of referrals
- Candidates who are Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply
- Must be able to work onsite only
Location: Fresno, California
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 60-65 students, including 25-30 students receiving speech-only services
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in compliance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student progress
- Supervise SLPAs where applicable to optimize service delivery
