A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Fresno, CA, serving a school setting. This contract role offers an opportunity to work onsite, supporting a dynamic caseload with the potential for SLPA collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to a caseload of 60-65 students, including approximately 25-30 students receiving speech-only support.
- Manage high volumes of referrals effectively within the school environment.
- Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and collaborate with facilitators as needed.
- Deliver individualized therapy plans and document progress in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
- Engage with students, parents, and educational teams to support student communication needs.
Qualifications:
- Holds valid SLP credentials, including SLP - CCC and School certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in California schools.
- At least 1 year of experience with Specialized Education Information System (SEIS).
- Experience supervising SLPAs preferred.
- Ability to manage a demanding caseload and referral system.
- Open to Certified Fellows (CFs) with appropriate qualifications.
- Must be available for onsite work in Fresno, CA.
Position Details:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week during the full school year.
- One full-time opening available.
- Caseload based primarily at an elementary school setting.
- SLPA support likely available.
- This position does not accept SLPAs; applications for SLPs and SLP-CFs are encouraged.
