Several full-time roles are open for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP; SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellows with supervision available). Skills and Licensure Requirements:
- Completion of master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active North Carolina SLP license required
- Accepting SLPs with CCC or Clinical Fellows (district supervision provided)
- Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
- Familiarity with supporting students who have autism (AU) or low cognitive disabilities highly desired
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to a diverse school-aged caseload (up to 35 students)
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ communication goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and compliance requirements
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Adjust therapeutic approaches and caseloads as needed, with details to be customized during your interview
