Make a direct impact supporting student growth and communication skills as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position runs from August 18, 2026, to May 27, 2027, offering 35 hours per week within a school-wide scope. You'll work across a district setting, supporting diverse learners from kindergarten through high school.
Your expertise will further a collaborative and student-centered environment, as you engage with students, educators, and families to address speech and language needs for academic and personal success.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Pennsylvania SLP Certification
- Active Pennsylvania teaching certification (must be submitted with resume)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience delivering speech services in K-12 schools is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in individualized education program (IEP) development and progress monitoring
- Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language screenings and comprehensive assessments for K-12 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to student-specific speech and language needs
- Deliver direct and consultative SLP interventions in a variety of classroom and small group settings
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student communication skills
- Document services, maintain confidential records, and provide ongoing progress reports
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and support district-wide initiatives
