Responsibilities
Provide individualized and small-group instruction to students receiving special education services
Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and accommodations
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
Track student progress and maintain compliant documentation
Support students in accessing grade-level curriculum and achieving academic success
Qualifications
Active North Carolina Special Education Teaching License
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education or related field
Previous school-based experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Skills
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Experience supporting students with mild to moderate disabilities
