Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

As a Special Education Teacher in our full-time, onsite program, you’ll play an essential role in empowering students with unique learning needs. All classrooms are self-contained, with class sizes ranging from 6 to 12 students, ensuring individualized attention, and are further strengthened by the support of three dedicated staff members per teacher. Placement of students is based on IEP goals, developmental levels, and behavioral support needs, creating a collaborative and nurturing educational environment.

Current openings include:

Kindergarten / Elementary Special Education Teacher

• Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• High demand for Grades 1–3 coverage
• Prefer certifications in Early Childhood Special Education and/or K–12 Special Education

Preschool Special Education Teacher (SFP Program)

• Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• High need for preschool classroom support
• Prefer certifications in Early Childhood Special Education and/or K–12 Special Education

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid New York State Special Education Teacher Certification preferred
• Experience working with self-contained classrooms a plus
• Comfortable implementing and tracking IEP goals
• Ability to collaborate with a team and provide positive behavioral supports

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to students based on IEPs
• Collaborate closely with classroom support staff
• Adapt materials and approaches to fit diverse learning and behavioral needs
• Track student progress and maintain detailed records
