Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure/certification as a school psychologist
- Previous experience or practicum in secondary (high school) educational environments preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and behavioral intervention skills
- Proficient in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, students, and parents
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results for high school students
- Work collaboratively to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student needs and behavioral plans
- Lead and participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to support student achievement
- Maintain accurate, confidential records and ensure compliance with all district, state, and federal regulations
