Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a school-based setting. This full-time position offers 33.75 hours per week, working with students across Pre-K through 12th grade. You’ll make a meaningful impact by providing speech-language therapy services to a manageable caseload of 38-42 students, helping them reach their communication goals. The start date is set for 8/31/26, but there is a preference for candidates available to participate in orientation and safety trainings from 8/24-8/28. If you can’t attend these sessions, don’t worry—your application is still welcome.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous school-based SLP experience is highly valued
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Provide consultation and resources to staff and families
- Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for students of varying ages and backgrounds
