School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Fryeburg, Maine

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a school-based setting. This full-time position offers 33.75 hours per week, working with students across Pre-K through 12th grade. You’ll make a meaningful impact by providing speech-language therapy services to a manageable caseload of 38-42 students, helping them reach their communication goals. The start date is set for 8/31/26, but there is a preference for candidates available to participate in orientation and safety trainings from 8/24-8/28. Desired Skills and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous school-based SLP experience is highly valued
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements
• Provide consultation and resources to staff and families
• Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment for students of varying ages and backgrounds
