School Speech Language Pathologist - Edison, New Jersey

Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a vibrant elementary school community and make a lasting difference in students’ lives! This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week—Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM—with the opportunity to serve a diverse caseload at the elementary level for the duration of the school year through June 25, 2027.

You’ll play a crucial role in supporting students’ communication needs, collaborating with dedicated educators, and helping each child achieve their fullest potential. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and ready to contribute meaningfully within a supportive school setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist license (CCC required)
• Direct school-based SLP experience
• Confident working within district protocols and policies
• Capable of independently managing a dynamic caseload at an elementary school
• Willing and able to provide your own testing materials
• Reliable transportation and comfort with the commute
• Able to complete all required onboarding steps: TB test, physical exam, background checks, fingerprinting
• Not open to Clinical Fellowship (CF) or SLPA candidates due to supervision limitations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language testing, evaluations, and assessments
• Deliver targeted therapy services that address students’ IEP goals
• Maintain organized and timely documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
• Effectively manage and plan for a full elementary caseload
