Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction and support for students with special needs, ensuring IEP goals are met.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and trauma-sensitive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers.
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and federal requirements.
• Communicate effectively with families and participate in IEP meetings.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet individual student needs.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification/license (state-reciprocal or eligible for VT).
• Trauma-informed teaching experience or training.
