We're seeking a dedicated professional to provide psychological assessments, consultations, and support for Monessen Elementary Center. This onsite contract position offers a unique opportunity to make a difference in student outcomes while also gaining valuable experience within a diverse caseload. The assignment begins as soon as possible and will continue through June 2027. Initially, you’ll provide coverage for a maternity leave through January 2027; after the leave concludes, you may transition into a floating role to support evaluations and adult education as needed.
What you’ll bring:
- Valid and active Pennsylvania School Psychologist Educator Certificate (required)
- Prior experience working in an elementary or K-12 educational setting as a School Psychologist
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and consultation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Flexibility to adapt to changing caseloads and responsibilities
Role responsibilities include:
- Administering and interpreting psychological evaluations
- Supporting the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conducting counseling sessions with students as needed
- Consulting with educators and families to develop interventions and learning supports
- Maintaining thorough documentation and adhering to regulatory guidelines
