Beginning July 27th and continuing through May 27th, you'll provide vital services within a dynamic K-12 environment, working across 2-3 sites. This position offers a consistent 37.5-hour workweek and a diverse caseload of approximately 60-80 students, with an average of 8-10 psychoeducational evaluations per month. Your expertise will be utilized to help students thrive through collaboration with faculty, administrators, and families.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Texas
- Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students in educational settings
- Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments and providing targeted interventions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Organizational abilities for managing a varied caseload and schedule across multiple campuses
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments for all students
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for students in need of services
- Support the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create effective strategies for student growth
- Counsel students individually or in small groups as appropriate to address academic, behavioral, or emotional issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all legal requirements and school policies
