School Psychologist in Hampshire, IL

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1 years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school psychologist opportunity is available for a full school-year contract beginning in August, located in Hampshire, IL. This role focuses on providing comprehensive psychological services within an educational setting, supporting student development and academic success.

The ideal candidate will possess strong experience as a school psychologist, demonstrating expertise in assessment, intervention, and counseling tailored to diverse student needs. Responsibilities include conducting psychological evaluations, collaborating with educators and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implementing strategies to promote mental health and learning in schools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to identify student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and monitor IEPs
• Provide individual and group counseling to students as needed
• Support crisis intervention and offer consultation on behavioral and emotional challenges
• Utilize data to improve student outcomes and inform school policies
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with confidentiality standards

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist
• Experience with diverse student populations and educational interventions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage caseloads effectively and prioritize based on student needs

The director will conduct interviews at the end of April, with placement decisions made based on your preferred caseload and areas of strength. This contract positions you to make a meaningful impact over an entire academic year.
