A school psychologist opportunity is available for a full school-year contract beginning in August, located in Hampshire, IL. This role focuses on providing comprehensive psychological services within an educational setting, supporting student development and academic success.
The ideal candidate will possess strong experience as a school psychologist, demonstrating expertise in assessment, intervention, and counseling tailored to diverse student needs. Responsibilities include conducting psychological evaluations, collaborating with educators and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implementing strategies to promote mental health and learning in schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to identify student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and monitor IEPs
- Provide individual and group counseling to students as needed
- Support crisis intervention and offer consultation on behavioral and emotional challenges
- Utilize data to improve student outcomes and inform school policies
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with confidentiality standards
