School Psychologist - Deep River, CT

Make a meaningful impact as a school psychologist working in a supportive school environment, serving students on a contract basis for the upcoming school year.

Position Details:

• Location - Deep River, CT
• Full-Time or Part-Time
• 2026/27 school year
• We also work with schools Nationwide, offering Virtual and TravelContract opportunities

Key Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility
• Demonstrated experience in educational settings, preferably across both elementary and middle grades
• Expertise in assessment, IEP evaluations, and delivering services for diverse student populations
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, families, and building-based teams
• Familiarity with student intervention and crisis response teams is highly valued
• Strong organizational abilities to support problem-solving processes and team integration

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and contribute to IEP planning and implementation
• Actively participate in Student Intervention Team and Building Crisis Team activities
• Work with staff and families to design interventions, support problem-solving, and promote student well-being
• Facilitate timely evaluations and provide direct services as outlined in student IEPs
• Support a safe, inclusive, and responsive school climate, working across both elementary and middle school grades
• Serve as a resource for staff development and consult on behavioral and learning challenges
