An exceptional opportunity awaits an Occupational Therapist passionate about making a difference across a diverse student community. This contract-based, itinerant role supports a broad caseload of approximately 45 students ranging from preschool through high school in a collaborative Special Education Department staffed with 2 ½ OTs. The dynamic setting allows for meaningful impact across multiple age groups and school sites near Hollister, CA.
What we seek:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license and credentials
- Experience with pediatric and school-based occupational therapy
- Skilled in assessment, intervention planning, and implementing evidence-based strategies
- Adaptability to work across various school environments and age groups

Key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students ages 3 to 18
- Conduct assessments to inform Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Develop and implement interventions focused on fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
- Collaborate with special education teachers, other OTs, administrators, and families
- Maintain thorough documentation to ensure legal and professional compliance
- Travel among assigned schools to serve students within your caseload
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development opportunities
