Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exceptional opportunity awaits an Occupational Therapist passionate about making a difference across a diverse student community. This contract-based, itinerant role supports a broad caseload of approximately 45 students ranging from preschool through high school in a collaborative Special Education Department staffed with 2 ½ OTs. The dynamic setting allows for meaningful impact across multiple age groups and school sites near Hollister, CA.

• Experience with pediatric and school-based occupational therapy
• Skilled in assessment, intervention planning, and implementing evidence-based strategies
• Adaptability to work across various school environments and age groups

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students ages 3 to 18
• Conduct assessments to inform Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and monitor student progress
• Develop and implement interventions focused on fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
• Collaborate with special education teachers, other OTs, administrators, and families
• Maintain thorough documentation to ensure legal and professional compliance
• Travel among assigned schools to serve students within your caseload
• Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development opportunities

This position offers the opportunity to earn between $50 and $65 per hour, in addition to professional growth while playing a vital role in helping students thrive academically and functionally.
