Hamilton County Schools is seeking qualified and compassionate School Psychologists to join the district for the 2026–2027 school year. These positions provide comprehensive psychological services that support the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success of students across the district.

Position Details

• Full-time position – 35 hours per week
• Multiple openings available (5 positions)
• School assignments vary based on district needs
• Start Date: August 5, 2026
• End Date: May 19, 2027

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
• Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and related service providers
• Support student behavioral, academic, and emotional needs
• Assist with intervention planning and progress monitoring
• Maintain compliant documentation and evaluation timelines

Caseload Information

• School assignments and caseloads will vary depending on district needs
• Additional details regarding age groups and caseload numbers are forthcoming as the district finalizes staffing and student projections for the upcoming school year

Schedule Flexibility

• The district may consider a 4/1 hybrid schedule for qualified candidates with a valid reason and demonstrated ability to effectively support students in a hybrid arrangement

Requirements

• Active DOE Certification required
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Strong assessment, collaboration, and communication skills

Credentialing Requirements

• Fingerprints required prior to start
