A full-time onsite Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) opportunity is available in the Hamilton, GA area, supporting school-based therapy services. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students, tailoring interventions based on individual needs and educational goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and participation in school activities
- Maintain accurate documentation, assessments, and reports in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Adapt therapy strategies to optimize functional abilities in the classroom and related environments
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Georgia OT license is required; COTAs with relevant school-based experience will also be considered
- Minimum of one year of clinical occupational therapy experience preferred, especially working with pediatric populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently and adapt to changing district needs
- Commitment to providing onsite services at designated school locations in the district region
Location & Contract Details:
- Position based near Columbus, GA, with specific school locations to be determined
- Contract duration: ASAP start through May 21, 2026
- Full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day)
