Qualifications and Experience:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Wisconsin
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within school-based environments
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with educational staff, students, and families
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans that support students’ academic and functional goals
- Professional, flexible, and organized, with a commitment to student development
- Previous onboarding a plus, enabling a prompt start
Responsibilities:
- Assess students to determine therapy needs and appropriate interventions
- Design and deliver school-based physical therapy services tailored to each student’s IEP
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other therapists to foster an inclusive environment
- Document all progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with state and school regulations
- Provide consultative support and training for classroom staff on mobility and accessibility techniques
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and planning sessions
