An exciting opportunity is available for a licensed Physical Therapist to provide specialized services within a school setting located in Irvine, California. This full-time, contract position runs from August 13, 2026, through November 15, 2026, serving multiple campuses in an itinerant role. The professional will deliver in-person therapy services to students, conduct assessments, and participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students across multiple school locations.
- Administer evaluations and assessments consistent with school protocols.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families through IEP meetings.
- Travel between assigned campuses within the assigned cluster during the school day.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Physical Therapist license in the state of California.
- Ability to obtain required fingerprint clearance for the district and agency.
- Teaching credential status to be confirmed.
- Experience working in school-based therapy settings is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Work Schedule and Location:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday during standard school hours.
- Itinerant role requiring travel across multiple campuses within the district.
- Work will be performed in-person at school facilities in Irvine, CA.
