Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A physical therapist is needed to provide in-person, school-based therapy services for multiple campuses in an itinerant role within the Irvine area. This contract position requires availability from August 13, 2026, through November 15, 2026, working full-time hours Monday through Friday (37.5 hours per week) during school hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized physical therapy services to students across a cluster of school campuses
- Travel between multiple locations throughout the workweek to meet student needs in different settings
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students physical therapy requirements and progress
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to collaborate with educators and families
- Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school district policies
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active California Physical Therapist (PT) license is required
- Current fingerprint clearance for state and district compliance
- Teaching credential status to be confirmed; updates to be provided accordingly
- Prior experience providing school-based physical therapy is highly preferred
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and work effectively across multiple campuses
