Step into a dynamic position supporting students throughout the 2026/2027 school year as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist. In this contract role, you’ll provide essential services to a diverse K-12 caseload in a collaborative educational setting located near Milwaukee, WI. Working onsite, you’ll play a vital part in guiding students toward improved communication and academic success, all within a supportive team environment.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Wisconsin SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school-based environments
- Strong understanding of a range of communication disorders and therapy techniques for children and adolescents
- Competency in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and implementing therapy in a school setting
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators
- Experience with teletherapy is a plus, though services are onsite at this time
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to K-12 students in both group and individual sessions
- Complete diagnostic evaluations and re-evaluations, clearly documenting progress and updating IEPs
- Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster students’ communication and learning goals
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and professional standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive, collaborative school culture
