Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a contract role serving a dynamic district near Geneva, OH. This full-time assignment runs from August 20th through June 4, 2027, providing services for students from PreK through transition ages, with special education support up to age 23. The district includes three elementary buildings, a middle school, and a high school, offering a collaborative and diverse environment.
Work with a weighted caseload, serving up to 80 school-age students and 50 preschoolers, or a combination within those ratios. Utilize your expertise to impact students’ communication skills and growth throughout the academic year.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Ohio SLP licensure and ODE credential required
- Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric and school-aged populations
- ASHA CCCs or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
- Proficiency supporting students in PreK through transition ages
- Strong collaboration skills for working with staff, families, and related service providers
- Previous experience in educational or healthcare SLP roles preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for a diverse student population
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and maintain thorough documentation
- Consult with educators, families, and other staff to support student progress and communication needs
- Provide therapy within general and special education settings as appropriate
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team sessions, and ongoing professional development
