Qualifications:
- Valid Vermont SLP license
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous school-based experience is appreciated but not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and tailored therapy to students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions to students in both individual and group settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions with your professional insights
- Advocate for students’ needs while fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
