Exciting contract opportunities are available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists eager to make a difference in school settings. Two full-time roles are open, each offering a unique chance to support students' development and growth. One position focuses on the PreK population, while the other works with K-8 students, providing diverse experiences across student age groups. Both positions require professionals who hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and have a passion for pediatric speech therapy.
In this role, you’ll serve as both a pivotal support for students and a mentor for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), guiding them as they deliver services. The work is fulfilling, impactful, and ideally suited for SLPs who thrive in collaborative educational environments.
Preferred qualifications & experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active CCC-SLP credential
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Competence in providing supervision to SLPAs
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for students with speech, language, or communication disorders
- Providing direct therapy services to students in either PreK or K-8 settings
- Supervising, coaching, and supporting assigned SLPAs
- Collaborating closely with educators, families, and other service providers
- Maintaining accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and state guidelines
