In this contract position, you’ll support K-12 students and work closely with educators, families, and support staff to foster independence and success in the classroom and beyond. Flexible scheduling options are available; choose between full-time or part-time hours for the upcoming academic year, beginning September 1st, 2026.
Your background as a certified occupational therapist with school experience and a master’s degree will be highly valued as you provide expert assessments and interventions tailored to the individual needs of each student.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (required)
- Active OT Certification and appropriate state licensure
- Prior experience in a school-based setting
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students across K-12 grade levels
- Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs and educational goals
- Consult with educators and caregivers to integrate strategies into daily routines
- Maintain detailed documentation and participate in IEP meetings as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Adapt activities and environments to support student engagement and independence
