Occupational Therapist School Setting in Forsyth, GA

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Georgia
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
• Familiarity with supervising COTAs and working within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to adapt approaches for a diverse K-12 caseload

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and support the work of Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants according to school protocols and standards
• Assess and document students’ needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement interventions
• Work collaboratively with special education staff, teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals
• Maintain timely, accurate records aligned with school and district requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing development of student support programs
