Position Overview:
Deliver Occupational Therapy services as part of the Extended School Year (ESY) program from July 7th to July 31st. The schedule is set for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, supporting students at the middle school level.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Active OT license required
- Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Background in home health, pediatric, or healthcare-related OT beneficial
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with educators, families, and other staff
- Understanding of IEPs and ability to tailor interventions to individual student needs
- Compassion, adaptability, and enthusiasm for working with school-aged children
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy interventions for middle school students
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and support staff to promote student success
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of student progress and attendance
