Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Current School Psychologist certification and state licensure (or eligibility)
- Experience working in elementary settings (K-6 preferred)
- Strong crisis management abilities and calm under pressure
- Comfort facilitating PPTs (Planning and Placement Team meetings)
- Skilled in conducting psychoeducational, behavioral, and emotional evaluations
- Excellent communication and collaboration with faculty, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver crisis intervention and support to students and staff when needed
- Facilitate PPT meetings, serving as a liaison and advocate for students' needs
- Conduct comprehensive student assessments, presenting findings and recommendations
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective interventions
- Promote positive mental health and resilience within the school community
- Maintain accurate documentation aligned with district and state guidelines
