Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Current School Psychologist certification and state licensure (or eligibility)
  • Experience working in elementary settings (K-6 preferred)
  • Strong crisis management abilities and calm under pressure
  • Comfort facilitating PPTs (Planning and Placement Team meetings)
  • Skilled in conducting psychoeducational, behavioral, and emotional evaluations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration with faculty, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver crisis intervention and support to students and staff when needed
  • Facilitate PPT meetings, serving as a liaison and advocate for students' needs
  • Conduct comprehensive student assessments, presenting findings and recommendations
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective interventions
  • Promote positive mental health and resilience within the school community
  • Maintain accurate documentation aligned with district and state guidelines

You'll work exclusively with an elementary caseload—allowing you to build meaningful connections and track progress throughout the year. All School Psychologists are based at the same site, enabling strong interprofessional collaboration and ongoing support.
