This full-time, contract assignment involves working as an Occupational Therapist within area schools for the upcoming academic year, with a Monday through Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours weekly. Key responsibilities:
- Deliver school-based occupational therapy services as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Assess and address student needs through the development and implementation of IEP goals
- Collaborate regularly with educators, parents, and other support staff
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Adapt interventions and strategies to a diverse caseload and changing assignments
Qualifications required:
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) certification
- Current and valid Colorado Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Experience or coursework in school-based OT practice preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and flexibility in adapting to unique student needs
