End Date: June 25, 2027
Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking five experienced Occupational Therapists (OTs) for a contract opportunity with the School District in Elk Grove, California for the 2026–2027 school year. These full-time positions involve working with students across K–12 grade levels, supporting a wide range of developmental, physical, and sensory needs.
This role offers the opportunity to join a well-established district with a collaborative special education team, where you can make a meaningful impact helping students build independence and succeed in the classroom.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
- Support students in improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills
- Manage a caseload across multiple school sites as assigned
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Active California Occupational Therapist License (required)
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a diverse K–12 caseload effectively
