Seeking an experienced Sales Manager/ Estimator for our South Florida Division. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members. This role is crucial in supporting our sales efforts and enhancing customer satisfaction through precise estimations that align with project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Oversee the estimating process from initial inquiry through final proposal, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and estimators to gather necessary information for estimates.
- Prepare reports for VP of Sales & Chief Estimator review.
Requirements
- Strong background in customer service with a focus on building lasting client relationships.
- Proven experience in estimating or similar role in the construction or manufacturing industry.
- MUST have excellent computer skills, experience in any takeoff software and Excel
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools; familiarity with industry standards is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to clients and team members.
- Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle to visit projects. (Miami Dade County to Palm Beach County)
- Pass a Background Check and Drug Test
- Bilingual is a plus (Spanish)
