Job Description:
The Sales Design Consultant is responsible for generating new customer opportunities, designing high‑quality pools, and delivering an exceptional client experience throughout each project. This role drives revenue by executing targeted sales and marketing strategies and maintaining accurate lead and deal tracking in HubSpot.
Success comes from building strong client relationships, expanding into new markets, and providing expert guidance on pool design and construction. The ideal candidate brings strong interpersonal skills, solid business acumen, and a collaborative mindset to create innovative solutions and long‑term customer value.
Responsibilities:
- Drive net‑new business by leveraging inbound leads, prospecting, referrals, and personal networks
- Establish and manage new and existing accounts to achieve or exceed sales targets
- Build strong customer relationships through tailored, region‑specific business plans
- Educate clients on design options and recommend solutions aligned with their needs
- Negotiate pricing and manage deal closings to maximize profitability
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver innovative, customer‑focused solutions
Compensation & Benefits:
- 100% commission-based role
- 6% on the contract amount
- Commission on Overage/Underage Cost
- The commission is paid at Gunite stage (Usually ~10 days from start of pool)
- Uncapped commission on overage
- Additional compensation: Corporate year end bonus based on company results (avg: $10k-$15k based on 50 pools)
- OTE: $300K
- 75% of employee’s medical coverage is paid by the company
- 100% of dental and vision is paid by the company
- 401k plan – 4% company match - 6 Months Waiting Period
- Flexible vacation
