We are seeking a strategic, execution-driven Chief Marketing Officer to serve as the enterprise marketing architect for a publicly traded, acquisition-driven aerospace and drone holding company.
The Chief Marketing Officer Will:
- Partner directly with the CEO and executive leadership on enterprise strategy
- Lead and elevate capital markets messaging and investor positioning
- Own enterprise marketing strategy across brand, digital, and performance marketing
- Build and scale a shared services marketing function across portfolio companies
- Lead marketing integration across acquisitions
- Drive data-driven, multi-channel execution across modern marketing platforms
- Build and develop a high-performing marketing team
- Align marketing performance with business growth and enterprise value
Job Responsibilities:
Enterprise Brand & Capital Markets
- Own enterprise-level messaging and brand positioning.
- Develop investor decks, corporate presentations, press releases, and quarterly updates.
- Align marketing strategy to capital raises, financial releases, and
- market positioning.
- Monitor KPIs including stock price, trading volume, and market cap trends.
- Ensure brand consistency across all portfolio companies.
Portfolio & Shared Services Leadership
- Design and scale a shared services marketing model.
- Lead marketing integration during acquisitions.
- Align brand, product, and sales marketing across aircraft, drone, and future portfolio companies.
- Assess marketing maturity and implement scalable structure in an evolving environment.
Marketing Execution & Oversight
- Lead a six-month rolling marketing execution sprint (visual execution dashboard).
- Oversee vendors (creative, digital, agencies).
- Manage investor events, town halls, webinars, conferences, and trade shows.
- Manage marketing logistics and execution end-to-end.
- Oversee digital performance marketing, analytics dashboards, and AI-driven marketing tools to ensure measurable campaign impact and optimized resource allocation.
Team Building & Leadership
- Build and scale a marketing team over 12–18 months.
- Lead Dallas-based marketing personnel and external partners.
- Partner directly with the CEO, COO, IR, and executive leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 15 years of progressive marketing leadership experience, with significant tenure in executive leadership roles (VP, SVP, or CMO level).
- Strong background in B2C or consumer-oriented marketing environments, with the ability to translate complex products into compelling market narratives.
- Demonstrated experience building and scaling marketing teams, including cross-functional and/or shared services models
- Broad enterprise marketing expertise across brand, digital, content, PR, and social, with leadership of multi-channel digital performance marketing, analytics, and marketing automation platforms
- Experience in investor-facing communications within public company, IPO, private equity-backed, or capital-raising environments
- Executive presence and strategic sophistication with the ability to partner directly with CEO-level leadership and translate vision into structured, market-ready messaging
- Experience operating in high-growth, acquisition-driven, or dynamic environments
- Exposure to generative AI and emerging marketing technologies, combined with strong intellectual curiosity and business acumen
- Ability to work onsite daily in Dallas
