Role Description
The Community Specialist located out of our Red Wing location provides direct, person centered services to individuals with disabilities and/or employment barriers. This role supports participants in achieving greater independence and integration within their communities by supporting them in developing and maintaining skills related to independent living, assisting with job exploration, resume writing, interview preparation and job retention.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) with further training in health/rehabilitation preferred. Six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Successfully complete DHS background study prior to beginning employment.
- CPR and 1st Aid training provided once hired.
- Possess valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; insurable at non-risk rates.
Hours
Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Work hours may vary based on service needs. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required to support service delivery outside of general operating times
Pay Rate
$21.50 per hour
