Senior Accountant

A healthcare company is seeking a Senior Accountant to support core accounting functions, partner with leadership on financial planning, and help integrate new financial systems. This role will work closely with the Financial Controller and play an important part in enhancing financial reporting, payroll operations, and overall organizational processes.

Responsibilities:

• Support the controller with monthly financials and analytics

• Assist with the migration to Intacct

• Partner with the controller on FP&A, including building new structures for tracking expenses

• Participate in the implementation of a new payroll system

• Take on a development path toward overseeing the payroll department

• Coordinate with a third party billing company on revenue cycle related items

• Maintain accurate financial records and support audit readiness

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or a similarly complex environment

• Experience with financial reporting, month end close, and analytical work

• Systems oriented with experience supporting or implementing financial software

• Strong communication skills and comfort working cross functionally
