We're hiring: IT Financial Analyst
Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for a growing Information Technology organization. Partner directly with IT leadership and vendor management to bring cost transparency, forecast accuracy, and measurable value across software, infrastructure, cloud, and technology spend.
What you'll do:
πΉ Own fiscal analysis across IT's full range of financial functions, including budgeting and accounting
πΉ Manage the IT division's operational budget process as the primary point of contact
πΉ Prepare budget reports and publish executive dashboards to maintain expenditure controls
πΉ Track FTE counts across hires, transfers, and role changes to ensure budget alignment
πΉ Support SOW financial performance tracking and value/ROI modeling
πΉ Analyze expense reports and monitor spend across capital and operating budgets
πΉ Maintain accounting ledgers and reconcile financial data for accuracy
πΉ Monitor funding deadlines and ensure timely reporting across all sources
πΉ Serve as financial advisor to IT leadership and contribute to strategic planning
What you bring:
β Strong background in accounting, finance, and budgeting theory and practice
β Expertise in Cloud FinOps, Technology Business Management (TBM), and driver-based forecasting
β Proficiency in Power BI dashboarding
β Knowledge of SOW financial reviews (SLAs, KPIs, penalties/credits)
β Familiarity with RFP financial scoring, pricing/benchmarking models (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS), and contract renewal modeling
β 5-7 years of experience as an Accountant, IT Budget Analyst, or similar role
β Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
β Experience with ServiceNow ITFM/ITAM, Oracle, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, or COBIT a plus
