What You'll Do:
✅ Develop and maintain an AI strategy aligned with corporate objectives, partnering with Operations, Engineering, Finance, and HSE stakeholders
✅ Own portfolio governance — maintaining a centralized inventory of AI projects, tools, and vendors while eliminating shadow AI and redundant spend
✅ Lead delivery of approved AI initiatives from proof-of-concept through production deployment
✅ Manage vendor and partner relationships, evaluating emerging AI technologies relevant to the industry
✅ Partner with Data, Cybersecurity, and Legal teams to ensure AI initiatives meet data privacy and regulatory standards
✅ Drive AI literacy, training, and adoption across the organization
✅ Define and report KPIs that demonstrate AI business value to leadership
✅ Chair the AI Governance working group, establishing risk frameworks and responsible AI guardrails
✅ Serve as the primary intake point for AI-related requests, streamlining demand on core IT teams
✅ Prepare executive-level briefings and business cases communicating AI portfolio status and opportunities

What You Bring:
- 8 years in IT program/project management, including 3 years focused on AI, ML, or advanced analytics

- Strong grasp of AI/ML concepts, LLMs, generative AI, and data science workflows
- Experience with AI governance, responsible AI practices, and data privacy frameworks
- Strong vendor management, contract negotiation, and technology evaluation skills
- Excellent executive communication and business-case development abilities
- Experience working within an IT PMO (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field
- PMP or equivalent certification
