We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a dynamic, enterprise-scale IT team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with deep expertise in routing/switching and Cisco data center technologies, as well as experience with cloud networking in Azure and AWS.
This position is engineering-focused (not purely support) and will play a key role in enterprise projects while also serving as a Tier 3 escalation point.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with deep expertise in routing/switching and Cisco data center technologies, as well as experience with cloud networking in Azure and AWS.

Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and support enterprise network infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments (Azure, AWS, Cisco ACI).
- Manage advanced connectivity solutions including Azure ExpressRoute, AWS Direct Connect, and BGP routing.
- Support hybrid environments integrating Cisco Nexus, Cisco ACI, Palo Alto firewalls (hardware & VM), and VPNs.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex network issues and participate in on-call rotation.
- Troubleshoot performance, security, and connectivity challenges across enterprise networks.
- Perform capacity planning, risk assessments, and disaster recovery planning.
- Evaluate new technologies, recommend improvements, and contribute to network strategy.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network architecture, standards, and configurations.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent technical experience).
- 7 years of enterprise-level network engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in routing/switching (BGP required, OSPF secondary).
- Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, Cisco Nexus, and data center networking.
- Proficiency in cloud networking (Azure, AWS).
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and enterprise ticketing systems.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 10%).
- Experience with Palo Alto firewalls (hardware & VM).
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code and automation tools.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, AWS certifications).
- Prior experience in large enterprise or Fortune 500 environments.
