Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Experienced Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and the ability to support general dentistry.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols.
- Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately in EMR systems.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Operate dental equipment including 3D scanners and assist with medical imaging as required.
- Provide chairside assistance during various dental procedures, including restorative work and extractions.
- Collaborate with the dental receptionist to schedule appointments and manage patient flow.

Pay is based on experience
Prior Head Dental Assisting experience Required
Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Alternating Saturdays
