Security Professional

Position Overview

Private family is seeking a polished, physically fit, and highly discreet individual for a full-time personal security position.

This role is primarily focused on presence, situational awareness, and discretion. The individual will accompany the principal during day-to-day activities including dinners, shopping, appointments, meetings, events, and travel.

This is not intended to be an overly tactical or intrusive security role. Professional appearance and presentation are important to this position. The ideal candidate is confident, well-groomed, personable, and able to blend naturally into luxury, social, and professional environments while maintaining an appropriate security presence.

The right person should feel more like a trusted member of the principal’s team than traditional security.

Privacy, discretion, and professionalism are the highest priorities.

Responsibilities

• Accompany principal during dinners, shopping, appointments, meetings, events, and other daily activities
• Maintain a visible but discreet professional presence
• Maintain strong situational awareness in public environments
• Assist with arrivals, departures, transportation, and movement through venues
• Coordinate as needed with assistants, drivers, household staff, and venues
• Accompany principal on domestic and international travel as needed
• Maintain complete confidentiality regarding the principal, family, residences, schedules, travel, and business activities

Ideal Candidate

• Polished, well-groomed, physically fit, and professional in appearance
• Confident presence with strong interpersonal skills
• Prior private security, executive protection, military, law enforcement, or comparable experience
• Discreet and able to blend seamlessly into upscale restaurants, luxury retail, private events, business settings, and travel
• Strong situational awareness and sound judgment
• Personable and comfortable interacting with others when appropriate
• Comfortable working around a private family and children
• Flexible regarding evenings, weekends, and travel
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Valid passport and ability to travel internationally preferred
• Strong professional references
• Must successfully complete background screening

Compensation & Housing

$75,000–$95,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Private housing is provided in addition to salary. Work-related travel expenses are covered. Relocation assistance may be considered for the right candidate.

This is intended to be a long-term position with a private family. Strict confidentiality is required, and a confidentiality agreement will be part of the hiring process.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
