Job Summary
Monday 9am-4pm only. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Private Duty Caregiver to provide personalized, high-quality care to an elderly woman in her private house. Responsibilities
- Assist client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and transfers
- Administer medications
- Prepare meals and assist with meal planning
- Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, or other assistive devices safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans for each client
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation
Skills
- Proven experience
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with client, family, and the other caregivers
