ABOUT THE JOB
A private Austin household is hiring an experienced rotational nanny for structured, long-term care of one primary child (with occasional toddler support). This is a live-in role during on-weeks and part of a coordinated, professional caregiving team.
Compensation: $40/hr
Schedule: 3 weeks on / 1 week off | 6–12 hrs/day
Location: Austin, TX (live-in during on-weeks)
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Provide developmentally appropriate, attentive care for the primary child across extended shifts
- Keep consistent daily routines — meals, hygiene, rest, and structured activities
- Cover toddler care as needed for seamless household continuity
- Plan and lead age-appropriate enrichment and learning activities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment at all times
- Coordinate with other nannies and household staff for smooth shift handoffs
- Flex with schedule changes as household needs evolve
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 3 years nanny experience, preferably in rotational or high-demand private household settings
- Proven ability to work extended shifts (6–12 hrs) with professionalism and stamina
- Proactive, organized, and able to anticipate needs independently
- Discreet and trustworthy — privacy and household confidentiality are essential
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
- Open to live-in during on-weeks (local and relocating candidates welcome)
Pay: $160,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
