Hi! We’re a warm, easygoing Santa Barbara family with two great kids (boy aged 6, girl aged 4) looking for a reliable, kind person to help with after-school pickups, activities, and a smooth afternoon routine.
This is a long-term, part-time role (about 2–5:30pm on weekdays) and is ideal for someone who enjoys being around kids and values a consistent, predictable schedule.
Responsibilities include:
- School pickup and driving to nearby activities
- Helping with after-school transitions (snacks, backpacks, etc.)
- Simple dinner prep for the kids
- Arts & crafts, games, and creative play
- Optional occasional evening babysitting
We’re looking for someone who is:
- A safe, confident driver with a clean driving record
- Calm, dependable, and comfortable following direction
- Experienced with kids (caregiver, parent, teacher, etc.)
- Engaged, communicative, and on time
- Happy with part-time hours and routine
