Mommy's Helper (Private Household)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Household Mommy's Helper to assist with daily Infant childcare and household tasks in a private residence. The ideal candidate will be experienced in caring for an infant, and capable of holding a baby and supporting a busy family environment. This role offers an opportunity to provide nurturing care while maintaining a well-organized household, trading off tasks with mom. Hours may vary but will be during the week during normal business hours and are flexible depending on your schedule. Ideal timeframe would be 9am - 3pm but can go up to 9am - 5pm if needed. Hours are flexible.

Duties

• Assist with infant care responsibilities for a baby with delayed developemental and special health needs.
• Prepare snacks such as prepping veggies and fruits
• Engage infant in tummy time, infant play and developmental and therapeutic exercises
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing baby's belongings
• Support with nap times, bottle feedings, and diapering as needed
• Provide caregiving support for infant with disabilities
• Ensure a safe, loving, and healthy stimulating environment

Requirements

• Prior experience with infants either babysitting, nannying, or in church nursery is essential.
• Knowledge of infant care
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
• Certification in first aid and CPR preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is advantageous
• Ability to help prepare nutritious snacks and assist with meal preparation for family members
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in household management tasks
• Compassionate, patient, reliable, and able to work well with both babies and adults
• Previous caregiving experience in a private household setting is preferred
• Attention to hygiene such as clean short nails is important for infant safety
• Ideal candidate will have a heart for service or ministry in a faith-filled home and genuinely loves babies.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
