IHSS Caregiver

Job Summary
We are looking for a female Russian speaking caregiver with their own car , to provide care for an elderly woman for 15-25 hours per week. pay is about 450 per week. hours are 10 am to ????. (client cant do early) . client needs 3-5 days throughout the week (not consecutive ) candidate must speak russian fluently. must be able to work for ihss (able to legally work in ca with clean record). must have their own car/license to be able to drive). we are located in martinez ca , 94553. references strongly preferred. health care , nursing or other caregiving experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• drive and accompany person to medical appointments from martinez to martinez and back , as well as from martinez to concord and back. there maybe other destinations to drive within ~10 miles.
• Clean bathroom and kitchen weekly. Vacuum floor weekly.
• laundry every week
• grocery shopping weekly.
• weekly help person dress . groom person.
• bathe person.
• go on walk with person.
• dishes
• help set up medications
• cook food (russian)

Requirements

• russian speaking female.
• strongly prefer fluency in russian.
• must be able to work for ihss (able to legally work in ca with clean record)
• must have their own up to date car/license/insurance. and willing to drive on errands ~25 miles per week.
• be able to cook (russian food) and clean
• Ability to work independently while following established care plans and protocols
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve clients’ quality of life
• must be able to work 3-5 non consecutive days per week.
• references strongly preferred. health care , nursing or other caregiving experience strongly preferred
• more hurs/pay maybe available later.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
