Full-Time House Manager / Domestic Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive Full-Time House Manager to oversee the daily operations of a private household. This role requires someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming home environment and can manage a variety of household responsibilities independently. The ideal candidate is trustworthy, self-motivated, discreet, and comfortable wearing many hats.
This position is full-time and based in the home.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping & Home Maintenance
- Perform daily and deep cleaning of the home, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, common areas, and laundry areas
- Handle all laundry and ironing, including daily laundry, specialty items, and proper care of fabrics
- Maintain household organization (closets, pantries, storage areas, etc.)
- Track household supplies and restock as needed
- Coordinate with outside service providers (cleaners, maintenance, pest control, etc.) when necessary
Cooking & Kitchen Management
- Manage grocery shopping, pantry inventory, and meal planning
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen at all times
- Handle proper food storage and basic food safety practices
- Prepare daily meals and light snacks based on household preferences
- Household Management
- Oversee day-to-day household operations and routines
- Anticipate household needs and proactively address issues
- Assist with scheduling appointments, deliveries, and household services
- Handle basic errands such as shopping, returns, and pickups
- Ensure the home is always guest-ready
Garden & Outdoor Oversight
- Manage basic garden and outdoor upkeep (watering, tidying, coordinating landscaping services)
- Oversee lawn care, plant care, and seasonal needs with vendors when applicable
Pet Care
- Provide daily care for household pets (feeding, walking, basic grooming, companionship)
- Schedule and attend veterinarian or grooming appointments if needed
- Maintain pet areas, supplies, and cleanliness
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in a private household, house manager, or similar role preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain high standards without supervision
- Trustworthy, discreet, and respectful of household privacy
- Comfortable multitasking and adapting to a changing daily schedule
- Physically capable of performing cleaning, lifting, and household tasks
- Valid driver’s license

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
